What is Business CAFT?

A secure web-based application that provides credit union and members the ability to generate electronic deposits and pre-authorized debits.

CAFT (Customer Automated Funds Transfer) access allows you to move money electronically between Canadian Financial Institutions. These electronic files are called AFTs (Automated Funds Transfer).

Business CAFT Technical Requirements to maintain access to the system include: 

  • Must have basic computer skills 
  • Desktop or Laptop computer 
  • The secure website and encryption is not compatible with any mobile device including tablets
  • Internet access with browser Internet Explorer (versions may change periodically)
  • Adequate firewall protection with 128 bit encryption
  • Modem speed of 28.8 kbps or higher
  • Antivirus updated regularly
  • Confirmed and active corporate e-mail address
