1^st Choice Savings was extremely pleased to have placed 1^st for actual donations during the month of June in the “Bank on Us” Blood Drive. With 29 blood donations, the staff and friends of 1^st Choice Savings helped save over 87 lives.  Along with 5 other competing financial institutions, there were 92 people who participated in friendly competition which included 11 new donors.  This almost doubled the goal of 50 people that Canadian Blood Services was expecting during the month of June, while helping to surpass 1^st Choice Savings’ Partners for Life target of 45 donations for the year.  Due to the tremendous success of the campaign, Canadian Blood Services is planning on making this an annual blood drive for the month of June.
