Telephone Banking

Automatic Transfer System
Pre-authorized transfers are a great way to automatically transfer funds between accounts, make loan payments from the account of your choice or set up a convenient savings plan. Transfers can be pre-authorized at the frequency of your choice.

Utility Bill Payments
Utility and credit card payments can be made using our 24 hour online Banking or Teleservice or at any branch.

Safety Deposit Box
We offer our members secure storage containers which provide maximum protection against fire, loss and/or theft of valuables of important items and documents. Located in our vaults, both the member's key and the 1st Choice Savings Preparatory key are required for access. Rental fees are based on the size of the box.

Night Depository
Convenient after-hour depository reduces the risk and worry of carrying cash overnight or over the weekend. Deposits are credited to your account the next business day.

Official Orders
1st Choice Savings offers our members official orders for financial transactions, remittances on behalf of the purchaser for payment of its own expenses or whenever an exchange of funds is required. Official orders are a convenient and secure way to send money in Canadian funds. Official orders ensure that the Payee is guaranteed payment.

Remittances on behalf of our members include
  • Disbursement of loan fund
  • Closing a member's account
  • Transferring a member's account to another financial institution
  • The payment of collection items
Money Orders
Similar to a certified cheque, money orders provide a secure and convenient method to forward guaranteed funds anywhere in Canada. The maximum dollar amount of any one money order is $1,000.

U.S. Drafts
We offer our members a way to send money in U.S. funds with convenience and security. American Express U.S. drafts are more readily accepted as payment than U.S. dollar cheques drawn on a Canadian financial institution. The maximum dollar amount is $100,000.
